The power of AI to the IOT
AI is playing a starring role in IoT because of its ability to quickly wring insights from data, bringing intelligence in the IOT.
Finding insights in DATA is KEY !
Machine learning, as good as Deep Learning brings the ability to automatically identify patterns and detect anomalies in the data that smart sensors and devices generate information such as :
- Raw Signals: Temperature, Pressure, Humidity, Air quality, Vibration, Sound.
- Video & Imaging: Face or Object detection and recognition, Classification, Segmentation, Localization and Tracking
- Also AI technologies increase efficiency in applications such as Writing, Speech recognition and computer Vision, by extracting insight from data that used to require human review.

VISION, Image Recognition & Classification
Detection if the image contains a car, a pedestrian and a bicycle, the detection operation lists these objects and their coordinates in the image.
BCI (Brain Control Interface)
Principle: An electroencephalogram is a measure of the Brain’s voltage fluctuations as detected from scalp electrodes (EEG).
Conventional Electroencephalography (EEG) electrodes monitor this activity from outside the skull.
User must be able to control the output:
- Continuous EEG output that the user can reliably modify (waves), or
- evoke an EEG response with an external stimulus (evoked potential)
- Sensing Probes are in contact with the skin and measure activity of Neurons.
- EEG signals is converted in radioelectric waves and sent to a computer where Algorithms detect Activation.
